A Coffee with Wolfox Founder
An Interview with Fabio: The Heart and Soul Behind Wolfox Coffee
At Wolfox Coffee, there’s more than just a great cup of coffee, there’s a philosophy, a vision, and a deep-rooted passion for sustainability, design, and community. We sat down with Fabio Lauro, the founder of Wolfox, to get a deeper look into the heart of the brand.
1. What is Wolfox Coffee for you?
Fabio: Wolfox is more than just a coffee brand, it’s family, brotherhood, and community. It’s about creating a space where people feel connected, where they can come together, slow down, and enjoy a moment of calm. Coffee is a ritual, a shared experience, and for us, it’s about making that experience meaningful. From the baristas who craft each cup to the customers who make Wolfox part of their day, we’re all part of something bigger.
2. Why the choice to be organic?
Fabio: I grew up in a place where everything was naturally clean, without pesticides or artificial chemicals. You can taste the difference, feel the difference, it’s a completely different level of quality. I’ve always known that what we put into our bodies matters, and that’s why Wolfox is committed to organic coffee. It’s not just about a label; it’s about better health, better taste, and a better way of farming that respects both people and the planet.
3. Why do we make sustainability the centre of our business?
Fabio: We live in a world of excess, too much waste, too much packaging, too much unnecessary clutter. It’s time to simplify. Being sustainable is our way of giving back to the planet and ensuring that future generations have something beautiful to inherit. We don’t just want to sell coffee; we want to do it in a way that respects the environment. Whether it’s reducing waste, using eco-friendly materials, or supporting ethical farming, sustainability isn’t an afterthought for us, it’s at the very core of what we do.
4. Wolfox venues have a very unique design. What makes the design special to Wolfox?
Fabio: Design is everything to me. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about how a space makes you feel. Every Wolfox venue is designed with intention, from the textures and lighting to the seating and atmosphere. I wanted to create spaces that allow people to unwind, to stop for a moment, to slow down and truly enjoy their coffee. A Wolfox café isn’t just a place to grab a drink, it’s a space that has been designed for you to experience.
5. Tell us about the new LOAFT project.
Fabio: LOAFT is something really special. It’s a beautiful fusion of a concept store, apothecary, and coffee space—a place where people can gather, discover, and connect. We launched it in Brighton and Covent Garden, and it has quickly become a destination for those looking for something beyond just coffee. LOAFT is about bringing people together, offering a curated experience that blends wellness, lifestyle, and, of course, incredible coffee. It’s a brand that really resonates with people, and right now, it’s where we’re putting a lot of our energy and focus. At Wolfox, every cup of coffee is more than just a drink, it’s part of a bigger story, built on passion, sustainability, and a deep love for great design. And with the growing success of LOAFT, that story is only just beginning.
